This is a lead bending stick manufactured from wood, and is a key tool required in the formation and manipulation of lead flashing and other metal sheeting applications. 

Lead bending sticks manufactured from wood are popular because not only are they incredibly durable and able to withstand force, they also consist of very smooth edges, as well as a moulded handle to ensure comfort and a good grip is achieved.

A wooden lead bending stick is used as an alternative to lead bossing sticks, where there is either more detail required, or smaller corners. The rounded face helps to set the lead flashing into the corners, whilst the lead bending stick is also quite thin to allow it to get into smaller gaps.
